Raleigh — Raleigh police arrested a man after he crashed his motorcycle into a fire truck.

The accident happened at around 12:30 a.m. on Sanderford Road near Idlewood Village.

Investigators said the fire truck was trying to make a turn when the motorcycle driver ran into the back of it. The truck was slightly damaged. No one was injured.

Probably wasn't arrested for the actual crash as much as he probably wasn't carrying any identification, ie. liscense to prove him authorized to operate.

I'm surprised they would arrest someone for no motorcycle license. I remember going to court in VA and about half of the cases were illegals that had no license that were operating vehicles .. they didn't get arrested, just a ticket and a court date.

it is an arrestable offense, and if there is property damage involved, i'm sure they wanted to make it as difficult as possible.

Apparently, someone has never played GTA: Vice city... if you bump slightly into a cop car, you get one star and can get taken away...
