Default gas tank gap?

I just put some new iridium spark plugs in and when i put the gas tank back on, it seemed like the gap was larger at the front of the tank.

The gap between the frame and the front of the tank is around in inch. Is that normal? I don't remember it being that high. I took the tank off and put it back on 3 times and it had the same gap. Just wondering if thats normal.

You likely knocked one of the rubber bumpers/bushings that sit on either side of the tank mount. Either that or you're not pushing your tank down on the mount due to the bushings being seated improperly. That's my guess.
