Well commuting I get around 44mpg or so...When I"m flogging it in the twisties it will usually drop to 38-40 mpg.

I only got around 30-35 mpg city, riding normally. I always got over 40 mpg until I hit about 1,500 miles, then I abruptly had a sharp drop-off in mileage. Still ran fine..never figured out why. 1,000 miles later, my oil light started coming on. I sold it shortly after. : /
So, it seems mid 40's is about the average...

When mine was still running, I regularly saw between 54 and 58 mpg. If I was ham-fisting the throttle, it would run around 45 or so. Keep in mind that this was with a -5 rear sprocket (really tall gears).
