Do we ask the right questions and do we buy our motorcycle's for the right reason's?
Do we ask ourselves "What are we going to be usin the motorcycle for?" and also "Do I really need 1900 CC's to accomplish it?".

I will be the first one to admit that my motorcycle is heavily modified. I don't have the same valves as you do, nor do I have the same cam's that you do -- but it was changed for torque, not speed but I am geared 15/42. I have modified the brake lines, front forks, brake pads, tires, exhaust and put a few trinkets for luxury and comfort.

Perhaps we should ask what the bike can be made into rather cheaply.
I weigh 297 pound's and my 250 slings my fat rear end around rather well at 80 and 90 miles an hour-never breathing hard or breaking a sweat doing it. However I do take it really easy when I have a camera shoved in my face. That is rather apparent in my videos.

If I buy a larger bike next year, it will be because of two up comfort. I find myself having to wait on the 600's and 900 CC machine's.
