My wife wants one this summer, cant complain about the price, but would like to ride one first. I had a ex500 a few years back, and the vibration off of the engine made it very unpleaseant to ride over an hour.

I just picked one up Friday and I love it so far. This is my first bike so I did the responsible thing and started small so I could learn to ride, not just how to survive.

yes, this bike is really fun, kind of like riding distilled to the basic. i love pushing it hard and not worrying about jail time, loss of license, etc. every time i ride it i like it more and wonder why i have so many others... j

No kidding you got all the others (5). How you find time to spend with each equally cuz I know they each be wanting you to "ride" them?

250's are great, but I've heard the new ones are higher revvers. I don't have a problem with my first gen. I just wish I didn't have to be three gears in to go 40-50 XD.
