Anyone use EZ Pass?
Ok, so I'm zero for fucking two using this thing. THere's no place to affix it to the bike since it's the same friggin tag as you would have for a car, therefore it's ginormous. So I went through the first time holding it as I went through. Didn't read it. Had to call them. Person said leave it in your jacket. Did that. Still didn't read it. WTF?
Anyone use this POS successfully?

Not yet, but I plan on sticking it above and in front of my gauge cluster. You haven't tried that?

I have EZ-Pass for the bike and the 2 cars.
I tried using the one for my car, and it didn't work. My wife called and ordered one for the bike. It looks exactly the same, but has a green decal on the back with "MC" in black letters. I stuck it to the left side of the double bubble, so it's vertical and not on an angle. Zero problems getting it read now.

I've always had to hold it over my head.
I ALWAYS use to have problems with it, and it was almost guaranteed I'd hafta call someone over.
For some reason though this season I haven't had a problem yet.
I was talking with someone who had it mounted to the handlebars on their BMW GS, and asked if it actually worked that low. He was telling me it was all about the angle the pass is held. Not quite 45degrees... more like 35 or so, and it's been working fine for me.

I've never had my ez-pass work, despite them saying "just put it in your pocket".

Weird - I've used E-Z Pass on many bikes. Always had it affixed to my tank bag with some 3M Duralock (like velcro on steroids) and never had a problem. You have to make sure the arrows are pointing in the right direction though.

Never had mine work correctly as well. Always have to back up and go forward 3 or more times til it finally works and lifts the gate out of the way, while the attendant just sits there watching.
Large piece of junk that is impossible to mount on a sportbike where they expect you to mount it for it to work properly.

Don't they just capture your plate and charge you anyway if it doesn't work?

How are you going to get passed the gate?
--------
Has anyone tried opening an EZPass and repackaging it yet? I bet its 80% empty.
I should get one too, sticking a fiver in my sleeve to pull out at the toll booth is getting old.

Mine always work. I use to stick it on the windshield but I got tried at looking at the velco strips when I didn't have it on. So now I just place in on my tank bag with the "M" front up and I've never had a problem. If you want I can post a pic of my simple set-up.

I just used it today, and it worked. I pulled it out of my pocket, held it on the windcreen and drove through. I don't want to have to do that though.
NYD, I don't run a tank bag, but thanks for the offer.
I'll try mounting it someplace and see if it works.
Why isn't there a "dash" on these ZX6R's? It's just the guage cluster and then nothing in front of it. What a PITA.

I usualy keep mine in my tank bag and it works most of the time. It doesnt like to on the whitestone bridge for some reason but works well at the other crossings. I never trusted the suction cup holders, but on most bikes you can secure something in the dash or under the windscreen.
Some have said to put it under the seat but that would be a major PITA if yo uhave to stop and give it to them.

Mine is mounted on my windshield just like on my car. Never had a problem. I know a guy who had his mounted to the arm of the sideview mirror. He never had a problem either.

Maybe this is the excuse I need for a smoked Double Bubble windscreen.
