My rear tire loses traction maybe once a year. I try to keep it at or below that level. I am not sure why anyone would enjoy going out in a blizzard and riding in the snow. :\

What about the salt they put on the road to de ice it? Doesn't that damage the tires and bike?

Cages here don't give a crap regardless of temp or precipitation. Otoh I have gotten a few waves from cagers when it's below freezing, or if it's Xmas and I have the grinch hat attached to my helmet.

I used to ride a CB650 year round in Michigan
Only real trouble I had was the last 2 mph in a snow covered parking lot
It was challenging, but do-able

Max its the same way down here. I'm much more concerned about people not being used to bikes and just ignoring/not noticing me.

we are all getting cabin fever, that's why we're so desperate to go out that we will, even in december when it's brutal outside!

yeah- the whole "you have extra room because it's bad weather" is a total crap shoot.
Riding down to VA in that ridiculous storm- I had people so far up my ass I turned around and glared at them....
and then I had people give me a wide berth.
no way I would ever count on that as something to be expected.

Tires? No. Bike? Depends on the metals and how protected they are.

Looks like one, with a speed handle sticking up from it in the foreground.
Seeing how the ice is forming hanging off of things, I'm guessing that it's a dummy dressed up in riding gear out there.

Hi!
What kind of temperature is over there?
The weather over here is extreme. It is below 10 (50F) now & in summers it is hovering around 40 (104F).
Brrrr, its too cold to ride around. Would worsen over for the next 30-40 odd days.
