So you hug the tank when you're on the wrong side of the road? Or when there's a truck in your lane coming torwards you? Shouldn't you just get out of it's way instead of hugging your tank?

I think she means on the highway.

I tuck when I go down high street past OSU campus. (25 mph zone)
do this in 1st gear so your revs are up.

yeah, the chicks dig me

It all depends. On a really windy day and im on the highway i will hug the tank. There are other days where im crusing along at 80 siting up without a problem. All depends on the situation

For the most part i like to stay somewhat upright. Usually on the highway i will just duck down a little bit so im not getting blasted by wind

EDIT - When it is really cold out during the winter and im on the highway i will tuck at 65-70 and just cruise along like that just cause im freezing my ass off and i try to stay warm

1) when the temperature is below 50F

2) when I meet a big truck

3) when it's raining

4) when I try to exceed 80 mph on my 250.

5) when I take a 'change of posture' break on long (600-700 mile days) rides

I don't find tucking comfortable at all so I don't do it until the wind becomes too much to bear, which is usually around 170.

Usually when the throttle is open, or if I am tired and want a rest, I'll lean over onto the tank bag.... nice breather.

I don't think there's a set speed to tuck behind the windscreen. Normally I do it when I get on the highway and the wind gets too much for me.

Not until around 80 or so, unless I am really tired. At high speed it is much more comfortable.

I hug the tank when I fart. Helps the air flow and if you aim it right, the guy behind you gets a wiff.
