HA HA!
Ya know, I'm trying on some gloves and looking at this store, been there maybe 20 minutes. This man walks up and sticks his left hand in a glove and goes to the counter to buy. I'm thinking WoW!
But I have a 3 or 4 pairs of gloves I wear depending on the temps or weather.
2 of my lightest pair are showing aging , so I'm kinda looking but no hurry

Either you have exceptionally universal and boring hands, or you have very low standards for fit. Every pair of gloves I've tried fits differently.

I've big hands. Joe Rocket Sonic gloves aren't that pretty, but the stitching on the outside makes for a more comfortable fit on the inside. They're comfortable right away. Pair lasts me about 3 seasons. No problem with the knuckle armor, don't feel it on the backs of my hands. I take a large with JR gloves, but xxl with A*? Weird.

Big hands, long skinny fingers. I've worn both pairs on all day rides and they were both very comfortable the whole way. Snug but no tight spots (including carbon fiber knuckle plates), no chafing or rubbing, nice and flexible, etc.
Guess I'm just lucky.

I can't ride without gloves. Even pulling the bike into the garage without gloves on fucks me up.

So then I had to take the time to take a glove off then put the damn thing back on again.
I'm just venting and hoping it gets better soon, they really are a pain....

You will think differently when the palms of your hands are torn off.

When I had my accident, I had Joe Rocket Blastic gloves. Held up great, so great that I can use them again. However, I have replaced them There are lot of deals now online for very good gloves.
