New Rider ForumsJust joining the motorcyclist hobbie? Looking to get some information about a first bike? Or have some newbie questions. Are you new to the website?
Hello all, I found this site while cruising kawiforums and found a lot of good tips for new riders (246 to be exact). The website is run by a msf instructor and expert witness for motorcycle dynamics. There are a good portion of tips dedicated to group riding, and many are focused specifically on big touring bikes (he rides a Goldwing), but most apply to any bike.
James R. Davis is not an MSF instructor. That site has a definite anti-MSF lean.
And I don't know about you, but I'm very wary of someone who claims to be an expert...
On the site it claims that he had been an instructor. I realize that any advice given from anyone needs to be taken with a grain of salt. If it doesn't sit right with you, then get a second opinion.
i surfed thru that site, and found the profiles for the authors, it appears that they dont say anything about motorcycling under their profiles, but there is a Lawyer and a senior Executive of IT?!?!?! so apparently it is a "cock" measuring contest going on, and neither one probably knows how to operate a motorcycle.

That is true. I too looked under the contact page and it never said anything. However, in the tips, it often talks about riding their goldwing around the country.
Did you look through any of the tips? Perhaps you can offer some advice as to whether or not they are helpful since you are an experienced rider, binx.
