Is this a good deal on a 2006 Ninja 250?
Hey, this guy is selling a 2006 Ninja 250 with 300 miles on it, and I can get it for about $2,800. Never dropped, garaged the whole time, he says he rides it around his neighborhood every week, to keep it running. Is that a good deal?

I would low ball him and offer 2300 with cash in his face. Since the new 250's are out and all

$2500 would be a decent price. I'd talk it down to $2400. Roughly. Just bc it has low miles doesn't mean its better.

300 miles isn't even broken in yet. Don't you have to have the first major service at 500 miles? Might want to use the price of that as a bargaining tool...

If you dont buy it at that price there are plenty of people out there who will. Does he know that though?

I got my 2007 perfect condition for $2200 with 1500 miles, listed for $2500 though. But then again it depends on how much other 250s are going for. Also, I bought mine during winter in which case makes prices drop some.

He is a moron if he thinks its worth 3100 when brand new its only worth 3500.
I got my 03 with 6k on it and a muzzy exhaust with just a minor crack in the fairing for 1125. You should be able to get a 250 for around 1500-1800 and it be lower mileage and in good shape.

You can probably still find a dealer that's desperately trying to get rid of leftover 07s for $3100! They'd probably be willing to deal now that the new body style has come out...

Unless you HAVE to have that one, find another if he won't budge. It's an EX250 after all, not a 1098, RSV, Speed Triple, or anything else harder to find used.

^^Exactly. There are tons of 250s all over the place.
I think its dumb to spend over 2k on a used 250 especially with the new ones out now.
