Its been a while SBN...IM BACK!

Hey guys,
I know I havent posted lately, and thats because im out riding my '93 yamaha XJ600S! Yep! finally on the road. I have all my gear broke in, and im getting very comfterble with my bike. Its a dream come true! and I probably wouldent be where I am now if it wasent from the great advice from you guys! Looks like the site and its members have grown quite a bit! But yeah. Need some advice once again. There are squids everywhere in my town. Its disgusting. I have been hassled by road trolls since day one. I even try to avoid them but the more I avoid them they more they hassle me and its really making me upset. What should I do?

Possibly it is because I chose to ride an older bike obviously im in need of someone to show me what a "real" bike is...

Best to keep trying to ignore 'em. They're obviously insecure in their own choice of bike, or possibly something deeper, and have to feel better by talking trash about your bike. Ride your own ride, and only worry about them if they directly make that dangerous.

Hell, I ride a 4 year old bike, that looks like it could have been built in 1982, myself! >see my avatar< You don't need a brand new supersport to know how to ride.

Well since my bike is a '93 and people are only used to seeing bikes that are newer than '02 i get a lot of people at stop lights and gas stations that ask me what year my bike is. I told a guy riding an '05 gixxer than it was an '09 model that hasent come out yet and since my uncle works at yamaha and helped design it im one of 37 professional riders in the US that gets to help test it....The look on his face was priceless
