I'm a big boy and an extremely quick learner I'm just not worried and its not like im gonna go out, get the bike, and try to start poppin wheelies between cars on the highway...i have a place to learn and the sources for even deeper research on how to do every little thing properly before i take it even close to the highway or somewhat tough backroads. It doesn't matter what kind of bike your riding you aren't surrounded by metal to protect your ass any idiot in a car can pull out infront of anyone on any bike...i actually do know a handfull of people who just went out and bought litre bikes who had never been on one before and do fine.

No they didn't have any good points at all. They were either just trying to get you to wreck or are just dumbasses. You won't
learn on a bike that scares the shit out of you. And even if you do you will be
years behind someone who started small. When you start small you can quickly learn how to take advantage of every inch of your bike and push it to the limit and then some. Then when you move up you can learn to master the 600's
ALOT easier and
sooner. When you start on a liter or even a 600 it will be
YOU and your nonexistent skills that will be pushed to the limit and then some.
You also have to understand that different sized bikes are just different. No cc class is
"better" than another. Sure your CBR1000RR will kick my ass in straight line top speed but my Aprilia RS125 will kick your ass in the corners. Each bike and cc class has its pluses and minuses.
I really don't get people who come here and post shit like this. Here's what it bottom lines to...
If you want to
MASTER your bike and develop
GOOD riding skills and be able to take a bike to its limits start small and move up.
or
If you want to look cool to the dumb broads and look like a complete moron to an experienced rider start on a 600SS or a liter. Fact is you will look like a tool on your 1k bike struggling to keep it upright while those poor noobs on the Ninja 250R's are passing you because they KNOW HOW TO RIDE.
Do you want to look cool or actually ride? Your choice.
