Default Mirrors

I always feel like my arms are in the way when looking at my mirrors. Either that or way off into the sholder behind me.

Any tips on adjusting mirrors??

It's a common problem. Be patient when adjusting and try to get them just right. It sometimes takes a few tries. You might try small blind spot convex mirrors made for bikes. There might be (or you could have made) blocks to extend the mirror a bit more away from the fairing.

they all are that way, you just have to figure out how to position your arm to get the best view.

Yep. you pretty much have to work to position your body or otherwise move your arms around so you can use your mirrors. You'll almost never be able to see directly behind yourself no matter what you do but after a while you'll know how to use them well enough to get some idea of what is behind you.

The other thing is that most people sit up straight on the seat when they adjust their mirrors, remember to get down in regular riding position when you do it, otherwise they are set too high.

Chances are you will never be satisfied with them though.
