looking for first bike

i have been on cycletrader a few times looking for a used 250r in my area but i cant find any.. does anyone live near me that is planing on selling there 250 around july? or any other small sport bike. i want to start looking for bikes now and get an idea of what im getting before july comes when i have the money so i dont have to wait that much longer.

i live in Ann Arbor MI and am willing to drive a distance of around 400 miles for my bike..

i should of probly put this in classifieds but it seems like theres nothing in there.

Finding a 250 here is tough, even a 500 or 650 is tough to find.
Dealers very rarely carry them either.

I've found a bunch in Chicago IL, Grand Rapids MI... etc.

same boat, Im short on cash and wont have enough until july probably. I really want a FZR600, there are 3 for sale right now, and one has a bitchin paint scheme (based on 90's standards) and its killing me that I dont have the $$$. I hope there will be more in a couple of months.

i mean u going to have to start looking other places. i am from cleveland ohio and i see those types of bikes for sell alot 250. i am like 3 hours from u. or u going to have to search surrounding states and just have it ship to u shipping is not that bad. go to cycletrader.com and put in ur zip code and then u can search for bikes in the surrounding states. just so u can at lease get a good idea.

I'm also looking for a Ninja 250r, but the '08. There are some in California, but I don't think that you want to travel from Michigan. Once they're here they are usually gone within a week. Sorry that I can't help you that much, but just do what the other users are telling you.
