New Rider ForumsJust joining the motorcyclist hobbie? Looking to get some information about a first bike? Or have some newbie questions. Are you new to the website?
Or we can ignore it and let it die on its own rather than continuing to post in it to demand that it be locked and thereby raise it back to the top of the thread queue.
People clearly aren't done with it, stupid as it is. If you hate it so much, why keep posting in it?

Because being emo is cool.

I am over 6'2", 300lbs, with a size 14 foot. Don't let anyone tell you that the 250R is too small of a bike. If I can ride my Kyoko for intown and highway riding, you'll do just fine.
I didn't read all the responses, but just a word of warning, "streached and lowered" and a liter bike is rpie for disaster. Lean angle is life, and you lose turning capabilitis streached and lowered. Add HP, and I see nothing but trouble.
The problem with lean angle is life is that most riders take many thousands of miles to figure out what true lean angle is. The most common get off is running out of pavement on a turn, and in a great many cases, more lean angle would have solved the problem.
Well ummm ....... Flame suit on**** I started on my tlr and it is known as the widow maker and might be one of the most dangerous bikes out there but i am still alive you just have to ride smart go slow and learn.
IMO you will die doing 60 on a 250 just as fast as 60 on a 1000+ bike
it's not just about falling off or hitting something at speed. it's how fast you reach that speed as well as handling and stability
^^ yeah, people like to use this excuse a lot in order to get faster bikes. I just tend to ignore them, as I can usually out twisty any bloke who starts off on an ss bike.
