So i have my eyes set on this GSXR..
AND i was wondering what bike i should get to get ready to ride one.
Lol you didnt think i was going to go straight for that beast, did ya? ;)
I was thinking a ninja 250/500 would be good, since they are like the main beginner sport bikes around. Would these be good to get me ready for the gixxer?

gs500... similar looks to the gixxer, with some mild mods. good platform to learn on.

The Katana is a pig. I'd take the Ninja 500 over it in a heartbeat.

I like the "flickable" aspect of the 500's. Not found in the Katana.
Don't forget to get all your gear.

So is the GS500, and it looks pretty similar to the GSXR.

Hrm...I read somewhere that Dainese doesn't hold up well in a crash.
Yah, here where he's talking about his 'Dainese-clad ass'.
Just hear say, I've no experience with Dainese.

I own one and I disagree. Too fat and heavy for a new rider.
