wow that sucks.

makes me glad i got a 500 and took the MSF. deffinately worth the pain in the ass.

if i had to guess, judging by the description of the problem, it wasn't letting off the gas that got him, but not looking where he wanted to go.

what's pain in the ass about learning the right way? Alot less of a pain in the ass to learn the hard way, that's for sure.

Sadly, he's not the exception. At least he's alive and may have learned a lesson out of it.

Hopefully he rides safe from now on.

no no no.

it was a pain in the ass to get into the course. First the local places either wouldn't answer their phone, or i had to do it in person (50+ miles away) then when i finally got through, the soonest class they had was 9 weeks away...then i tried to walk in, and lost a 50/50 lottery. I stayed for the class, showed up early for the bike part, but didnt make it. so i had to take the classroom over (not that it was a bad thing).

it just wasnt an easy process. completely worth it though.

ah, gotcha. That sucks. My girlfriend got in it super quick & easy, she found someone selling their spot on Craigslist for that weekend for half price... Emailed the person on Thursday, heard back from em on Friday, in the class at 6am on Saturday
