Default What should my tire pressure be on my ninja 250?

ive searched for it and found different answers

<Lame rant>
I dont have a manual because I bought it used from the dealership and when i asked to by a manual they kinda laughed and said "You dont want it, it just tells you how to start it and dumb specs..its only like 5 pages" I asked to get it anyway and it was $25 so I decided to wait...$25 for an owners manual? not even the service manual which was like $35...well i went back because I find myself needing the owners manual more and more and now they are sending out for it for me and they gave me a discount they said so it was only $17 HAHA still crazy expensive for a 5 page book that just tells how to start it..or so they say

<lame rant over>

so what should the tire pressure be?

Doesn't it depend on what tires you have?

a dealership downplaying the importance of an owner's manual? wow.

32 front
36 rear

you can find a lot of useful info on kawi's website (in addition to purchasing the service manual):

Depends on the conditions that you ride in as well. High speeds, lower pressure. Riding in the rain, a couple of lbs more.

It does depend on the size of the tire also. The max pressure will be on the sidewall of the tire.

keep in mind that Max Pressure is to handle Max load.

one up riding usually doesn't come close to that.
But, it is a place to start with pressures.

Most tires end up low anyway. My tires can lose as much as 25lbs. of pressure over the winter. It's important to check them regularly.

It's on the rear fender underneath the seat or on the underside of the actual seat.

Right. One thing that I have done also is I bought the pressure indicator valve caps. They may not be accurate but with one quick glance you will know you are not riding on a flat.

Guitar man-Those put extra stress on the valve stem. That can be a bad thing.

Bottom- Manual recommends 28 psi front, 32 rear.

And since it doesn't seem like you've found it yet, I'll point you to

I suppose they could although I used them on my old CBR with no problem and no significant air loss. I suppose all doubt is removed by going the old fashioned way though.
