b4tn is on a distinguished road
Default 4 hour German Countryside trip from the dealer.

it ended up bieng just over 100 miles. due to a few wrong turns for those interested in my route here is the link

http://maps.msn.com/(q0xbihih3dbmwr5...t eUnit=Miles

I used a GPS to route me around the autobahn due to te fact essentially this is my first time on a bike. The scenery was amazing, along the twisty roads where lakes, castles, and diners with hundreds of motorcycles parked in the middle of the woods. Since I am in my break in period and the idea of being on a bike kind of freaked me out I never saw above 4.5k rpm. So I took it slow and easy.

It wasn't until the end of the trip that i started getting comfortable with cornering, it feels so much different than a car. I went out again today and I am really starting to get a feel for the bike. I had to come home early because I got caught in a sudden unexpected downpour that was flooding the streets.

A few things I noticed, 100% attention is required at all times. Af ew times I would be day dreaming a bit and end up getting scared by a car, or maneuver.

Looking through the corner is so easy and useful I am excited about it! Just like the MSF instructor said : You go where you look. Once I started to look ahead, let myself lean, and concentrate on entering and leaving at the proper points I was amazed at how the bike almost drives itself. I found today I was taking corners like nothing it felt natural.

Cars are idiots!!! From this point on I will always pay attention to and feel for the rider when I am in a car! I couldn't believe the stupidity out there all around me, it was really scary!

Overall I am very happy but cautious
