Default think 250s are ugly? [or why to start small]

think again. re-evaluate why you want a 600cc+ SS bike. is it because they look GOOD? is it because theyre FAST?
well, check this out...

Chicks dont know the difference between an MV Augusta F4 and a 250 ninja.
Hell, it says NINJA on the side. you get points for that. youll be up to your neck in women in NO time if thats what you want. [just dont park next to that busa!]

wanna go fast?
have you ever ridden a 250? find someone with one in your area. ride it for about 5 minutes. wring the hell out of it. its way faster than you think. it will take you from "slow children at play" to "oh fuck" in about 6 seconds. and then once you actually learn how to ride it, you can take those badasses on zx-11's to the twistys and eat their lunch. chicks dig guys that can embarass the shit out of other dudes like that.

AND, in the looks department, we have the new hyosung gt-250r. it looks exactly like that gixxer750 youre drooling over. and cheaper. and you wont get raped by insurance. you can also buy a gixxer decal kit and sticker it up to make it look like a "real" bike. that way you save money. and the "bike boyz" that watched torque and went and bough a liter bike, and ride it to and from bike night won't know the difference. then after you kick their ass, you can tell em its a 250, and theyll swear up and down youre riding an rc51. then youll get famous in the local scene. and youll get all the women.

any way you go, buying a 250 will almost certainly get you laid.

just something to think about before you leave your skin on the road because the yamagixabusa you just bought put you on your ass. and you can meet chicks in the hospital, or without skin.

in short, 250cc sportbike = you getting unbeleivable amounts of sex.

fin.

Truly a heroic post. While I have only had mine for a few weeks, all the dipshit 10-14 yearolds on the 4 wheelers and dirtbikes that race in my private neighborhood have been coming up and asking about the 250 (cost/where to get/"gun that baby down the empty street". While I realize this isn't sex related (and thank god it isn't), it goes to show me that I can impress the crap out of these punk kids who think they are badass on their 90-125cc dirt bikes.

That's not to mention the women trying to follow me around on their golf carts (lol). It's too bad they are the slutty kind of under-age girls. There are no girls my age in my neighborhood <_< now.

Just for the added note with my new 07', when I let the rest of my family ride around on it I'm like "damn that bike's hot", but that's probably because it is my bike and its still shiny >_>. I need some decals.

kids will love you no matter what kind of bike you're riding...

i swear, the most adoration i've ever seen for a bike from a group of strangers have been when my girlfriend rode her red '97 ninja 250 down past a group of kids (3-6 years old) in my neighborhood playing wiffleball, or when my brother rode his previous bike, another ninja 250 ('05), down past a local elementary school while it was recess... i've never seen so many little kids completely stop everything that they're doing and just slowly rotate as he rode by on his bike...

gotta love em

It's pretty sad if we enjoy a child or a teenager's admiration. I havn't brought mine back to college yet. Then again, man, you gotta realize that these "kids" I'm talking about have been riding dirt bikes for atleast 3-5 years. It's not like a 2 wheeled motor bike is new to their persona.

I was riding with a friend of mine earlier today....we passed a guy on a sweet VFR who joined our "formation". All three of us passed by a shcoolbus full of little kids, they ALL came to the side of the bus and waved at us! We gave them a little wave back..they were so happy!

Then I crashed into the car in front of me j/k!!!!! hehhe

I absolutely love the first post LOL

I sort of agree, most girls (esp most of the Hot ones) won't see 250, they'll see SportBike (esp. with the new ZX styling )

i.e. they'll (most likely) see you like this

not this

And as nice as the liter bikes are... most of them look very ... (i don't want to say clunky...) 'inflated' (yeah... that works...) ("busa, super Blackbird, the BMW 1300(?)... etc)

I mean the new 250 looks like more like a Yamaha R or a Gixxer, versus the older look it had.
And it can still keep up with the 'big dogs' (aka Liter bikes)

(even that Hyosung has alot of potential)

Anyway
It's better to start Small (and safe) (so i've been reading/been told)
B/c from what I read here, you may think you can handle a huge bike, but it may end up handling you (thus ownage, and possilbly death...)

(Curse you WallStreet marketers/TV for making us so superficial that we give up safety for looks...)

Huge edit

Whoops.... didn't realize this thread was almost a year old

Much of what you wrote was pretty detailed. Sounds like personal experience!

Oh, and it's always fun walking to your bike, and some little kid walks over to your bike with his parents and starts asking you about it. The parents are always embarrassed, but I oblige and offer to let him rev my bike, etc. The kids get a kick out of it, and the parents always start smiling too.

If you require a motorcycle of any kind to get attention from women, then you have bigger things to worry about than what kind of bike you own...

I suppose that's right, if you truly "require" it.
