go to your local dept of motor vehicles or dept of licensing. they will usually have the study guides for for free. or, http://www.dmv.org/ga-georgia/motorcycle-manual.php good luck with the BRC!

If you've taken a college course in... say, Physics, the MSF course will be a joke. You have to get an 80%, and most of it is common sense. You'll get asked stuff like:

"Alcohol impairs your riding abilities:"
A.) After the first drink.
B.) After you can't walk.
C.) After you're legally drunk.

And a few things on how to operate the bike that you learned in class. Just pay attention, and you'll be fine.

I want to say that 95% of people pass the written part on their first try. Half the class I was in got 100%s.

Md's motorcyclr manual is zero help for the BRC.

Study this: http://msf-usa.org/CurriculumMateria...VS7_noprnt.pdf

and some of the other stuff there

They cover all of the material on the written test in the classroom. Just pay attention. They also cover all of the range drills on the riding test. Again, pay attention and practice as instructed.

You'll do fine.

If you really want to study ahead of time, look at the materials Jim suggested.

I'm in VA

Day one (Friday night) you do the book question by question and discuss the rage
Day two you go on the range from 7am until about 2 then go in and do the written test

Day three more range time and then the practical test

Monday morning, you run like an insane fool to the DMV, take their written test (in va you have to msf will be 100% licensing requirement next year) hopefully pass it (its a bit different then msf instruction) and get your license after showing them your msf card.

I took it today. Done in about 10 min and got a 100 on it. It's really easy stuff as long as you pay attention.

I think you're stressing too much over this. Unless you have a REAL hard time with written tests. If that's the case, talk to the instructor at the start and see if they'll give you an oral test.

Usually passing the msf course results in them sending you a certificate that you then take to your state dmv (or whatever it's called) office to get your m/c endorsment on your license.

I just finished the MSF course today and yes those sample questions actually are lifted strait from the real question pool.

Don't sweat the test though. Much to my amazement at least half of the class was freaking out over the written test. I suppose the situation lent itself to that, there was no time to really study at all. We got out of the first classroom session rather late, and the first day on the range starts bright and early. A sub 30 minute lunch following the range exercises before we went back to the class. This led to some students frantically cramming during the 10 minute break before the test was handed out.

All that panic was unwarranted though, lowest grade was a 92 I believe. Just relax and pay attention during the class, you'll do fine. People apparently do fail, but those cases are probably extreme, like some sort of anxiety disorder, attention deficit or severe mental retardation.

Yeah I think my MSF class had 50 questions and they were pretty much the exact same ones. We did a crossword puzzle right before the test and every question in the test was on the crossword puzzle. Ohh and in my class if you missed some of the questions they just told us the ones we missed and had us redo them.
You really have nothing to worry about.
