Exclamation Motorcycling isnt safe? Well...neither is life!

Heres a good argument for people who say that motorcycling isnt safe.

Last week, some dumb 18 year old broad in a Neon was driving down a street here in Montreal, somehow lost control of her car and slammed into a gas station. The gas pump caught fire, and there was a big expolosion! A man was filling up his car next to where this happened...and had to JUMP THROUGH his car to avoid being burned to death! Luckily, he escaped unharmed. (thats his blue Civic in the pic).

Now...the ironic thing is that it turns out this guy lives in my building. He has a bike and has been riding for over 5 years WITHOUT INCIDENT. Yet, one day, while he is filling up gas with his car, he almost gets blown to pieces!

Now...this doesnt mean that motorcycles are any more or less safe than anything else...but it just goes to show that ANYTHING can happen ANYWHERE at ANYTIME...regardless of being on a bike or not!
