Has anyone ever had gel packs in there seats

I took my seat off my 2004 F4i its the long one piece seat. It had on padding in it when it comes from factory its pretty hard. I took it to a local uphloy shop she is going to add gel packs then a layer of padding over that too. She said no one has never complained about a gel pack. Have you ever had or know of people who has these put in there seats......

i know they sell gel seats...another alternative that might be a lil cost efficient is to wear the padded bicycle shorts under your pants

We had a sport-tourer that we bought a gel seat for. It was really nice. I'd like to get one for my 600, even though the seat it has isn't really that bad.

cool im getting them in mine they say they no softer than what the seat is now but its alot better...Im trying to see if its not softer how is it better..lol

If a seat is too soft it is actually not confortable after some time in the seat only on short rides.
