OK...haha you guys obviously got me figured out....ill give you credit for that....and yes it will be a first bike...but i keep checking cycle trader, craigslist, and the classifieds on here and i can find a ninja 250(my preffered choice) at a price i can afford...so when i saw the fzr i got excited...he wanted like 1800 for it and i asked him how 1500 was he said we could work that out...i really want a bike...and im taking the msf soon.......i know that the 250 would be a better choice its just a matter of finding one and ive been looking for at least a month...........so thats my story
FZR 1000 for 1500? where is this at? (misses his 90 FZR1k)

My first was an FZR1000...and that being said...pass on it.
The FZR1000 is a beast of a bike for a new rider, even at 17 years old (the bike). The powerband on that thing is madness and it's heavy as all hell. You wont be able to focus on your technique because you'll be struggling just to deal with the bikes quirks...which in turn makes the learning curve much longer.
Go smaller, learn how to corner and then upgrade.
I wish I had.

At no point...in your rambling incoherent response...were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points...and may God have mercy on your soul."
