Default Kawasaki EN 500?

I know it is not a sportbike, but you guys seem to be more helpful than any other sites I can find. Found a 94 that is for sale, for $1300.00 I have seen it, and it looks like it is in good shape, no signes of hard riding or being dropped. Should the belt drive concern me? Will this be more or less maintainance than a chain? Any one out there have any first hand knowledge or experience with the bike? How well will it hold up doing 70-75 on the highway?

Great for a beginner bike. Since it's a cruiser, it shouldn't have been ridden hard at all. The belt drive is a litle less maintenance than a chain(you don't need to lube it) but it will require adjustment like a chain cause it can stretch......I wouldn't be concerned about it. It also has enough power to go 75 w/ no problems, just get a windshield(if it doesn't have one), it'll help!
