bringing it back
I bought a Yamaha Seca II (red) for 1800$ with 6700 miles about four months ago. It was my first bike and I put about 600 miles on it. It was a good bike, but I really like the more sportier bikes, and i figured since I owned it I'd trade it in on something else. Three weeks ago I found a '95 FZR600 2700$ 10k miles and I just went for it. I got 1400 trade in on the seca so I owe 13 on the fzr. I am a new rider and I know I should have checked these things, but I just got excited and bought it, but the fzr has scratches on both right and left engine (caps?) and the bar on the right side of the bike that goes to the rear tire is banged up (about a 4" dent across 1" deep). Overall the bike seems to run great, but a couple days ago I went into the mountains and got about 20 minutes up, and the bike just completely started bogging out, lost most of it's power and got really loud when I hit the throttle. A couple people told me it's the altitude or mabye the premium gas I put into it. Anyways, I had to turn around , and when I got to flatland I let it sit a little while and it ran fine after that..
I'm just worried this bike might be a lemon. What would be the best way to go if I try to bring the bike back, and get something else? What are some good things to say.???thanks..
