Cat, I know a guy in the CSBA who will teach folk how to put a knee down in a parking lot and will do it for next to nothing. My only problem is finding somebody with a parking lot who is willing to let us use it. This guy also brings a small motard for us to use if we want instead of us learning/crashing on our own bikes.
Thanks again guys,

Needless to say, I am so glad I went with the PR2's. Traction is great (if you cant tell from the pics!) and they have about 7k miles on them and not even kidding, they STILL look like theyre brand new...and I ride them pretty damn hard.
I would highly suggest them if you want a good grippy tire that lasts long. I trust them enough to drag knee with, and would trust them in any situation that I needed them for. A+ tire in my book.
Edit: A lot of ppl will argue they dont provide enough grip for the street...and to that, I say yeahhh riightttt. They provide more than enough traction for the average rider, and even the ones that ride aggressively. You dont really need super sticky race tires on the street, plus if you ride a lot you will clear the tread off your rear tire in less than 3k miles.

Thanks for that! I'll look into those.
Appreciate you taking the time to report.

Where was this turn Drez?
I put my bike back together and it started but didnt even sound like a fuckin an engine. The timing is off. i fucked it up so i basically have to pay to get it done and it was just a huge waste of time. Lesson learned.
Anyway, with those high rear-sets on the RSV i would have dragged an elbow for sure
Its impossible with my bike unless i get higher rear-sets but take an action shot on rt23 with a "modern" supersport and it would artwork for people to see, like DealsGapR6 status minus the full leather suit cuz i dont have one.

Its in a disclosed area that youve never ridden before. Its basically just one road. Ill tell you where not on here./
If you werent leaning, like you always dont haha, youd lowside before your elbow came close to touching pavement. Especially on those high-speed sweepers, youd be done bro haha.
And sucks about the bike. You should have just had John do it you n00b!!

P.S. Drez your pretty tall, looking at the rear shot of your right hander i can see you can dip your shoulders more into the turn to get your back strait and get lower with the height of your shoulders, meaning get closer to the gas tank. Wanna take the turn faster and get lower? Get your head lower and continue looking through the turn, lead the bike with your head and the bike follows! You get what im saying?

Na man, john is the reason i had to do it myself in the first place. He told me i didnt need it. 2,000 miles later i did, meaning it should have been done when i wanted it to be at 7500 but instead he talked me out of it saying i dont need it, therefore i took it upon myself to do it from a how-to tutorial. Well i went in over head im not gunna lie. W.e another lesson learned i supposed.
Idk about lowsiding on a bike with high rear-sets either, id try it if i was there on that turn bro and you know out of any of us that ride i would do it...not to toot my own horn and i NEVER do, im very humble but seriously, my bike has the lowest rear-sets our of all our riding buddies and yet im still quicker through turns ya know? I wish i could take my step-dads bike out with you guys, i think elbow dragging is possible on that beast, rear-sets are high as shit lol

you guys talking about a valve adjustment?, make sure to tension the front side of the chain very tight.
first time I did it on my 9 I had to do it over to correct the timing

Yeah, I know I can move my body closer to the tank I just choose not to. We all have our comfortable leaning positions, and mines not really like 'the norm'.
And I wasnt talking about high rear sets, Im talking about your low-as-shit rearsets on your ZZR. Your ass would be on the ground into that guardrail before your elbow even came close. Id love to see you try though And I cant say Ive seen you ride faster than any of us, maybe on that cop-infested road near your house, but in good fun, other than that I cant agree with you
Oh, and if you would have taken your engine apart and seen that you needed to do the adjustment, you could have easily put it back on and taken it to John. Thats what i was talking about.
Stop getting all grumpy Matt. College must be getting to you!

nice form Dave...Natty you should practice to get over and lower.Itll help when you start hitting up the track.I have that upright style too and even though I was faster than alot of the guys in white they kept telling me to hang off and wouldnt bump me.I really started to listen after having two huge front end slides. The coach said it was a combo not having the right tires(pirelli rossos) & being on top of the bike.I was bumped as soon as I made the effort to get over more on my 4th track day.

Eh, Im not too worried.
I dont do trackdays and Im presently comfortable with my position. Plus theres no 'perfect' body position anyway so its not a big deal to me.
