Default i'm a NESBIAN!!!

i just signed up about a week ago. i can't wait to get out on the track and improve my riding ability.

i've been given #420 (as in the international time to smoke weed. kind of an inside joke i had with my brother before he passed)

i've tentatively planned on one event per month this summer, starting in may (i was going to go april to october, but i'll be stretching my race budget enough with just 5 weekends).

i plan on visiting gingerman, nelson ledges, beaverun, autobahn country club, and (hopefully) road america.

i haven't gotten transportation nailed down yet (i have a friend that said i can use his f250, but it gets about 10 mpg. i think it's got a v-10 in it). if anyone's in the general area, has room for my bike and wants to carpool, let me know!

see you this summer!!!

I just joined last month as well! I was tempted to go with 420 ;) My first day is late March at Summit, can't wait.

Go to Road America. Best road course IMO. I love watching races there.

thanks! i hope i'll learn a LOT. i also hope that the b group isn't too fast for me. that's probably my biggest fear since i've signed up. not because i'll be embarrassed by faster riders, but because i have this fear of having a motorcycle crammed into my ass at high speed (at any speed, for that matter). if everyone in the b group is more interested in being smooth than anything else, i should be fine, tho. at least, that's what i keep telling myself...

Welcome to the club

I joined up with NESBA last year for my first track day...and second...and third...and fourth...and a new bike...and fifth...and sixth.

I took a hit from the track pipe and I haven't looked back

Dude, have fun. Summit in March is a crap shoot. Either weather is good or you freeze your balls off. Plan accordingly.

Dude, Im in beginner with NEsba in the Mid Atlanitc. As long as you remember to focus on the track in front of you and dont think about whats behind you, you will be ok. You might also want to get some earplugs. It helps me block out when a loud vtwin is behind you setting you up for a pass. Just ride smart and never look back while you are on the track. You do that youll be fine.
