Default Novice riders course?

I was just looking into signing up for an MSF class, and I was just wondering if this is the one I should be looking to get into.

The MSF BRC or Basic RiderCourse is the place to start:

Actually I checked there and when I searched for my state and selected the location in my city it looked like they offered 4 different classes. One of which was the novice riding course then there was an intermediate course and then there were S/TEP beginner and advanced courses. I was just wondering which of those it is.

If you're starting at the beginning, the novice class sounds like the right one, but read the description and/or call.

Before you go there, tune yourself up in the garage and just sit on the bike, place your feet on the pegs and just hang there.

Best if you pull both feet up at once and try to balance. Then when you are at school, you have a sense of balance out of the way and now can concentrate on class. Try that exercise I used to do learning on my own.

Don't know if they teach you that. Just thought I'd pass that along. See it that works for you.

biggest thing is be ready for something different though.. I have a ninja 250 they had 250/125(or 150 i cant remember) cruisers..the footpegs are in TOTALLY different positions lol. First time i started out I put my foot down cause I totally missed the peg on the cruiser lol same for shifting..the feet up in front of you is a but hard to get used to IMO when your coming off a sport bike position to a cruiser position
