Thats strange here if you take the class all you have to do is go to the DMV with your certificate and just pay the price for the new license. No test of any kind.

It's different for different states. Some states allow the MSF course as the test, and some don't. Here in MS I know you still have to take the written test, and I think it just kind of depends on who you talk to and how recently you've taken the MSF as to whether you have to take the driving test or not.
