My tip that helped me from my MSF instructor:
SET YOUR THROTTLE AND USE YOUR CLUTCH TO CONTROL. I.E. use your bike's engine speend to slow down and road speed to speed up. Like if you engage your gears in first it will slow you slightly than if you just disengage and roll.
We had to do the box on an incline. It was difficult but doable.

I just read this and I do not remember the box being 20 inches by 60 inches like in the first post. Then again I took it in 1996.
