Just got signed up...

... for my MSF beginner's course. First day will be next Tuesday (2-27). I'm a bit excited. Riding is something I've wanted to do for years, but it was never quite in the cards financially, and now it's my time.



I kind of wish I had a bicycle around to tool around on a little just to get the feeling of being on two wheels back... it's been a few years since I even rode a bicycle. I suppose I'll just have to wait and see...

I got kinda lucky on the dates. Most of the courses at this place are on weekends, Thursday-Sunday. But since I work for a restaurant in the evenings, the weekend course wouldn't have been good for me. Luckily, they also offer a midweek course, albeit far less often than the weekend course; and since it goes all day long for three days, it doesn't seem to fill up at all. The weekend courses were booked solid for about a month, but this one still had openings.

Hopefully, this will also translate into more personal attention from the instructors as well.

Now if I can just get my friends to stop telling me that I'll kill myself on a cycle...
