It's basically the exercises from the second range day of the BRC.
I think it's worth it. I teach it. AND take at every year, or when I get a new bike.

How could any training NOT be worth it? Ive taught it for 10 years and never had a student waste their time.

yeah, I plan on doing this when I put in a few thousand miles.
luckily Illinois is very cheap $20, and these don't get filled as fast as the brc, so there's plenty of chances to get in. i'd also like to try the dirt riding course, maybe some of it will translate to the streets.

Something nice about the ERC is that you can get a group of friends together and have your own private class. Many locations will do the class based on when they hav e enough people to do one.

I am thinking of taking the ERC course. In Quebec, a course similar to the MSF is mandatory to get your permit, but I would like more training.
What do they teach in the ERC? I already learned how to countersteer around an obstacle, and emergency braking in a curve and in a straight. Do they teach more than this? It was pretty basic. I'd like to learn more evasive manouvres rather than just basic controls of the bike.
Is there any good ERC courses in Northern NY or VT that anyone can recommend?

A big part of the class is doing more agressive swerves and stops.
