Default Leads on Written Exam

Any one have any leads on the written exam for the MSF course? Or how might I be able to study it weeks before I take the course?

Don't even worry about. As long as you stay awake and pay attention there is nothing to worry about.

Listen and go easy on the controlled substances . If you can't pass it then, please do not touch a bike ever again.

remind me (as if I already knew)... what book. I'm assuming they would have it at the local DMV?

And yeah, you're prolly right, but I've never even taken a class on how to drive. To me driving was all common sence and I guess it was for me. But this is something I horribly want and I don't want to take any chance at all, seeing as my mom prolly wont let me get a bike even if I pass the test.

dead simple, 50 questions, multiple choice.
I'm surprised when my students get less than 92-94

I stayed awake for the entire lecture. That's it. That's all the effort i put into it.

I was considering studying, but got lazy. I showed up and got 49/50.

You're WAAAAY overthinking this.

The test at the DMV can be tricky, though. Michigan's has absolutely NO bike related questions on it. It's mostly obscure traffic laws that nodoby knows... so you may need to thumb through a pamphlet when you get there. In MI you can take it three times in a row, though. And most of the questions are the same on each. So you should be able to pass it easily.

Relax, bro. You'll be fine.

Take this review a few times and you'll be all set. The questions are pretty much the same as the ones in the link.

+1 on the questions in the link above. You canalso find a buddy who's already taken MSF and ask to borrow his workbook. I've read through DHs from when he took his class.

The questions are the sorta type that you took for the driver's test. Pretty simple, basic stuff (without all the rules of the road and signs and whatnot).

Damn why even give us a test if that's the type of questions they give us. Thanks for the link. i'm taking the course in 2 weeks. Nice to know I have absolutly nothing to worry about. I'm guessing the riding test is at about the same level of difficulty from everything I've been told.

wow that test is very helpful. i was a little scared about taking the MSF course in a couple of weeks. I decided to just try and take the review test to see what my weeknesses were. I have never sat on a motorcycle before, i have never learned about motorcycles before and i made a 44 out of 48. Anybody who is scared about the written portion, relax, just listen and try the review test.

It's very uncommon to fail the test. Pay attention and you'll pass. Study a little and you'll pass well.

We always offer to read it to anyone who'd prefer that. If you think it would help, pull the instructor aside and ask.
