Default MSF in NY - How Long for License?

I'm hoping someone in NY can give me an idea of how long it actually takes after you complete the course to get your license. The website says something like 4-8 weeks, but I'm hoping that's not the case!

I wasn't able to get into a course until the end of June, and I'm hoping to get my license in time enough to actually get some riding in. It's unfortunate that they can't just give you your license at the course like in other states...
