Quoted for emphasis.

All of those 10-year-old Call of Duty wunderkinds likely couldn't handle having to actually strategize and avoid getting shot without having their brains melt down.

The primary flaw I found was completely shitty documentation.

Neither. Both of those are highly arcade-like and unrealistic compared to this one.

It's more GRAW in that most of the encounters happen at a good distance. It's not very up close and personal...but it's very realistic.

Yeah, this game is much more disciplined and isnt the run and gun. Call of Duty has always sucked IMO 10000 bullets whizzing by and you didnt die. Now way jose.

Depends on what you like. I liken technical games to people who enjoy sniper maps on CoD. The ones who don't cry like little bitches because they got killed by a "camper".

There's also a great deal of fun to be had weilding shotguns on a small map, like Container.

It's amazing how many perks and tactics there are that many of these kids and kid-like adults whine about. They cry about someone else having juggernaut, while simultaneously ignoring the fact that they just took 10 bullets and kept running.

Most of my gaming time is well spoken for, but I'm always on the hunt to try something new. However, as counterpoint I found comments on another forum I'm on pissing all over DR in the past week or so.

Crappy AI (either insanely perfect or dead stupid) , no dedicated servers, no anti-cheat, horrid netcode (major advantage to the host), etc. Bug thread on the publisher's forum over 1000 posts a week ago...

Stuff from people who loved the earlier versions and rushed to get this but now regret it.

I've found from playing World at War for a while that tactics regularly change. For example, people would use the juggernaut/mp40 and run and gun for a while, then change to camo/silencer and go for the stealth kills. Crying about it is clearly stupid...but people hate it when their chosen tactic gets neutralized. Rather than come up with a new tactic they piss and moan about it.

I dont know if its in COD:Modern Warfare (never played it) but hardcore on World At War seems to me to be a bit more realistic. You die with way less damage, no HUD, and older players who actually use some sort of strategy. From what ive seen, its pretty rare to have a game ended due to points. Oh and no tanks.... I hate tanks...
