Soooo it has always been made by THQ and was a good game but got really bad with 07.....Waste of money....way to arcadey. Powersliding 800s around almost every corner etc. Lameness.
THQ no longer has the rights to the game and Capcom has picked it up for 08!
At indy they had a tent set up where you could actually play the new MotoGP 08(set up on 360s) that doesn't come out till October 28, 2008.

I only played it for about 5minutes but it was FANTASTIC!
The game was so damn good. It was thoroughly polished, graphics & gameplay wise.
There are 3 different levels/style of gameplay. Arcade, an Intermediate & simulation. On arcade I couldn't powerslide but on sim you could.
They really did a good job at bringing the game back down to where it needs to be and doing away with the hardcore powersliding.
They had a thing where if you got under 2min on INDY they would give you a free (blow) horn. The controls worked good & was pretty easy considering I got a 1' 35 off the starting line... 1'34.** a couple laps later. & ofcourse coupons for when the game comes out....
Anyways for you all that have had interest in picking up one of the motogp games or like to play them, this will be the best one yet by FAR! Capcom did an awesome job with it. I highly recommend picking it up!
