I bought one 3 days ago from my boss for 80 bucks, original version, mint, with the original box and manual and such, and a 1gig card and some madden game I sold for 3 bucks.

But yeah I bought it for the sole purpose of buying Monster Hunter Freedom 2. I had the original Monster Hunter for PS2 a long time ago and that's the only console version capcom released here, but yeah basically I can't play online with people on quests and such so the game is basically completely worthless to me now. the 3rd installment is coming to consoles a while from now so I'm going to just sell it (hit me up if you wanna buy it lol)

So yeah I've owned it 3 days and want to sell it ...

oh yeah, this thing shouldn't even be able to browse the internet, it's that bad ... I'm actually on my 56K home connection on my dell right now and it's faster.

If you travel a lot, the PSP is the bomb.

Just have to mod it and throw emulators on it. Nothing like playing Super Mario on a PSP and having people look over your shoulder wondering how Mario is on a Sony device.

i love my psp was one of the first to purchase it (got it on launch day) and cant say enough great things about it. I have a Ds as well but i play them both equally. Final Fantasy 7 crisis core was simply amazing if youre an FF fan.

not so much a new PSP as a modified psp really to be honest. Still the same hardware.

Default psp

The PSP could have been really great, it does a little of everything, it can play movies, games, music, hold pictures. But Sony locked it down with firmware updates that prevented the PSP from getting to it's potential and who the hell is going to buy a UMD? WTF is that about? Why would I purchase another copy of a movie that I already own?
Even still, I think the PSP is great tool and with a 2 or 4 gig memory card and some help from , you can pack enough movies and music on it to last for a few days.

i like the psp but i don't play it that often. i was all about moto gp and never really got into any of the socom games for the psp, but splinter cell was pretty kick ass for it.

i'm on the psp fence though, i could take it or leave it despite how much i like it.

Easy to unbrick using Pandora battery.

But yeah, it's gotten pretty complicated, as it's a constant struggle between Sony and the firmware cooks.

Having an old, original one and modding it since the beginning really helps... maybe you can find a buddy who's done it before.

Maybe next time I'm working in Dallas you can come visit me and we'll do a little magic on your PSP. Otherwise, I can probably walk you through it pretty easily - I just modded my neighbor's brand new silver PSP last week onto 4.01 M33 Custom Firmware.

Yes, he has Sonic. He was most excited about TMNT on SNES though, lol.

Man, as I look at the release dates, I see literally NOTHING on the horizon that I want for this system...but as I look at the DS release dates, I see about 10 games I want.

I really want to sell this thing, but I simply can't bring myself to do it. I know that as soon as I do sell it, a few games will pop up that I really want...
