The Happening, have you seen it ?

We went to see it yesterday and not quite sure what to make of it. Some scenes are very disturbing. Really no plot and they set it up to look like it could be a sequel, possibly.

With M.Knight you never know what your gonna get.

So, what did you think of it ?

It looked strange from the previews .

Knew from it being from M.Knight it would be. So what though.... weird is cool sometimes.

I'm almost afraid to see an R rated movie from him! All that graphic killing is a bit much at times for me. I'll end up seeing it on a Wednesday.

Forewarning, it starts off right away with the weird shit.. My husband had to look away at a couple of scenes, just cause of how disturbing they are.

My husband wasn't too thrilled with it, cause there was no real plot to it. Just weirdness and creepiness.

It was alright, something different than what's out right now. Better than Sex in the City that's for sure.

No way I am seeing that movie. Everytime I see one of that guy's movies, I get nightmares for weeks....

I wake up in the middle of the night screaming "How'd he get financing, How'd he get financing?!?!?!"

Basically, yes..

Some of the scenes are pretty gruesome as far as what you can hear as the "accidents-suicides" are happening.

Ok, so we rented "30 days of night" and "The Mist". Wow, talk about f'ed up.

30 days - blood and gore and vampires.. nothing too much to that one

The mist- Wow, f'ed up ending, religious, and not really gory but gross..
made you think a lot during the movie about how people and religion can sway a crowd and turn them against one and another. Makes you even holler at the tv.

Definitely creepy, with all the suicides. No typical twist at the end, just Hollywood-style preaching. Even the characters figure it out pretty early on.

I always enjoy watching Wahlberg and Leguizamo, and they did a great job. I really want to like Zooey Deschanel. I've seen her in a few movies already (Elf, the Tin Man miniseries on Sci Fi, Hitchhiker's Guide...) and thought she just needed a good script and director for her acting break-through - this wasn't it.

I really like Zoeey Deschannel too....I think one of these days she will do something big....i think shes really good looking too...or she was in ELF anyways...
