Default Old TV shows you wish they would bring back

Are there any old television shows that you really enjoyed, that you really wished they would bring back?

Personally, I was a fan of that show Fastlane....the one with the two undercover cops (Bill Bellamy, and Peter Facinelli sp?), and Tiffany Thissen (Kelly from Saved by the Bell) as their boss.

I know it was kinda corny...but I really liked that show.

A-Team FTW! Too bad George Peppard (Hannibal) is dead. Although he would have been 80 this year, that wouldn't work well for a reunion show I guess.

Seriously though, I wish they'd bring back Firefly. Yes, I am one of those people.

Well not old shows, but they're shows that I would simply like to see again.

1) Life (Had one season last year, MIGHT have another this year.... I strongly suggest checking it out if you care to)
2) CLONE HIGH! One of the best, most under-rated cartoons I've ever watched!

Fastlane????? Tell me you're not serious....I saw about 15 minutes of that show once and almost puked on the carpet. The writing on that show was so asinine I missed the plotline of the episode (assuming there even was one) due to uncontrollable laughter that that POS even got a pilot episode shot.

I liked the show Action. It's Jay Mohr making fun of Hollywood as an evil producer of a crappy tv show. Mohr is so biting in his mockery of tinseltown that it's probably over that his show was yanked. Mohr has always ragged on hollyweird and that show was really funny.

But really, is there an old show that hasnt been dragged out of mothball for some piss poor remake? Mostly in movies though. I have an unnatural fascination with Morticia Addams. The original one, Carolyn Jones, who died some years ago. Angelica Houston never came close to the sultry sexuality of Jones.

The sitcoms today seem to rely heavily on arguments for humor instead of actual banter or plot. I'd hate to see some great old shows gets remade, but I'd love to see some being rerun more often. Get Smart, The Dick Van Dyke Show, Fraiser, Dinosaurs, The Odd Couple, The Wonder Years, The Munsters, just to name several.

I still enjoy the reruns of Sanford & Son, Good times, 3's company etc..

Today's tv is all about game shows, reality shit.... gets old imo

I gotta say that I'd like to see CHiPs back again. I know they tried to redo it once and failed but I still think the world can use those kind of Sunday night at 8 pm shows you can sit down with the kids and watch.

What else? A new WKRP with good personalities like the old one had, not just trying to bring back the worst characters played by actors who can't get other jobs.

Let's see. I have a few shows I could mention, but they would all have to be much grittier than the original in order to keep my attention these days. Like the new Knight Rider movie/pilot; I thought it was fine for what it was, but it could have been much deeper and even a little darker these days.

I'd really like to see a modern version of CHiPs, but maybe more along the lines of "The Shield"; graphic traffic accidents, Ponch on the take and using excessive force, John trying to survive as a "good cop" working the badlands around L.A. while trying to keep his partner under control. Maybe I should make time to work on a screenplay myself?

Simon and Simon and Magnum PI, but I don't know if I would want them to redo them.

There was a show on ABC for one season called 'Sons and Daughters' and it was hilarious. Sucks that it didn't come back. "Sons & Daughters" (2006)

Freaks and geeks was a great show. It only lasted a couple seasons though.

I'd kinda like to see "A Very Brady Porno." It could be set right when Cindy turns 18 before she goes off to college.

Highlights could include a lesbian scene with Jan and Marsha where Jan shouts "Marsh, Marsha, Marsha." and Sam the Butcher slipping Mrs. Brady some meat.

What child of the 70s wouldn't want to see that?
