That's the only thing I'm looking forward to on the Wii. Maybe Harvest Moon as well but meh.

Because enjoying the aspects of owning and riding a sportbike doesn't necessarily reflect the idea of wanting to own a video game about them.

I personally don't like racing games...so why would I skip that personal preference of mine just to buy a racing game because it's got motorcycles in it instead of cars??

I don't really like the MotoGP games. Difficulty is far too high to enjoy it.

Racing games need to get progressively more difficult: Forza, GT.

Not "insanely hard" off the bat.

Umm, so just got done with Star Wars FU demo.

Yeah, so this one is gonna suck after the fun with the force powers wears off. It's either going to be far too easy, or they're gonna fuck up the gameplay in later (earlier?) levels to "balance" it.

Sucks, I'm a huge Star Wars nut - but Star Wars games are not very fun. Except Lego, that shit is great.

Well, Star Wars: The Force Unleashed came out today. Sites like IGN and Gamespot are giving it average ratings (7.4 or so), but the user ratings are waaay higher.

I was going to buy it outright, but I think I'll be renting it first.

Of course the user ratings are way higher..."Star Wars" nerds will rate anything with the word "Star" or "Wars" or "Jedi" in the title a 10 automatically.

Take for instance that stupid ass animated "Star Wars" movie that came out a month or so ago...by all professional and casual accounts it's not only the worst "Star Wars" movie by far, but also one of the worst animated movies in recent memory...however, the "Star Wars" dorks that I work with thought it was the greatest movie of the summer, going so far as to claim it should end up making more money than "The Dark Knight."

With that said, I think your idea of renting it is a good one. I'm getting tired of paying $60 for a mediocre game that I want to sell 7 days after I get it. I think I'll start spending $7 to rent one for a week when I'm not 100% sure I want to buy it.
