It's a simulator type game, if you want something more fun/arcadish try PGR4 (which lets you ride bikes alongside the cars), or DIRT (rally simulator).
Try racing a 69 Camaro with 700hp in it...now THAT's hard
That's the funny thing. My SS Cobalt feels like im steering a brick and just wont go around corners. However i am faster with the 1968 GT500 around corners and in the straights.
I'm gonna give it some more time, but i'm not expecting much. I was hoping it would be fun for some online racing and i cant even stand the offline racing.
Also if PGR4 plays like the other ones, then i will pass. I never liked those either...i guess its Grand Turismo or go home for me.

(shrug) You're going into the corners too fast and yanking the contact patches out from under the car. That's what happens. Go into the replay and watch the telemetry describing what's happening on the tires...
I actually like Forza better than Gran Turismo in the control configuration - at least by default, you can't trail brake in GT because the same stick controls both gas/brake. Since I LFB in real driving, Forza was a revelation to me. I still think GT has better track and surface textures and driveability, but since I'm stuck with XBOX Forza does just fine.
Heh. I'm buying a new 360 this weekend and Forza 2 is prepacked inside along with Marvel:U.A. and on pretty much every every respectable game review site, Forza got the higher marks. Eh... looks like I'll have a shiney new frisbee.

BTW, you might try upgrading your tires before pitching Forza - makes a huge difference in grip and feel, and is a good way to get the feel of the cars more easily.

Ive been giving it more tries. I think i figured out the problem. The speedometer doesnt match the speed. So when i'm doing like 80mph i feel like its much slower and attempt the corners at a speed thats technically too high.

Yes, I had that problem too. I read one review where the guy put his XBOX in 4:3 mode, even though he has a widescreen, and then used the TV's edge compression/expansion scaling to zoom the image. I thought it was interesting (apparently he does this with all race games), but haven't played with it yet.
Are you playing with a steering wheel or just the controller?
Also, are any of you playing this online??
