....but does anybody else dig playing on the older consoles? I'm getting back into Dreamcast like mad. I'm looking to start modding my DC and I have ordered a bunch of new games for next to nothing. I think its time for me to go and buy a NES and SNES and a GNS and all the other old school stuff. Anyone else like the ol' school gaming?
Also, anyone else mod their consoles? I'm really starting to think it's kind of a neat and inexpensive hobby. All my gaming buddies think i'm a hopeless cuz im stuck on the DC, but I have always had a soft spot for it. Can't wait for all my new games and parts to come in though, it's gonna be fun.
I can't wait until all my xbox360 and ps3 toting buddies jaws drop when they see my DC playing movies and all the NES and SNES games off one GD-ROM.

MSR (Metropolis Street Racer)
V-Rally 2 Expert Edition (never sold in america so I gotta figure out how to get a PAL version to play on a NTSC-US console)
Rush 2049 (Gotta love Rush games)
Ferrari F355 (Really good race sim but the version I have coming is the NTSC-Japan version so I am going to need to get a boot disk to allow me to play it)
V-Rally 1 (really good game that I miss playing that will play without any extra effort)

I've got a close friend who claims one of his missions in life is to own every video game console (home consoles-- no arcade systems) and a few of the best games for each. So far, he is well on his way. He just recently lost a bid on ebay for a system that RCA put out, which is actually the first video game system, even before Atari and Pong.

i bought a DC years ago, only to find out about a month later that the fucks at Sega were going to drop the system and no one was making any new games for it. I only had 2 games for it at that time... Soul Calibur and Quake 3 Arena. I barely played it, and the system was never abused, but one day just out of the blue I took it out of the closet and wanted to play it and the damned thing wouldn't read the cd's

We will miss you.
Yeah, I still ike the old consoles. Just the other day I was playing Baseball All-Stars 2 and Super Tecmo Bowl on the Nintendo and Boogerman on the Sega Genesis.
You start out motorcycling with a full bag of luck and an empty bag of experience. The trick is to fill the bag of experience before you empty the bag of luck.
Some people are like slinkies; they're good for nothing but they still bring a smile to your face when you push them down a flight of stairs.
a few of the guys i work with and myself were talking at work last night about all the old games we used to play...here's a few i remember talking about
Contra
Street Fighter
R.B.I. Baseball
Super Pitfall
Sonic
Mario Bros (duh!)
Duck Hunt
Mega Man
Metroid
Mortal Kombat (first one)
Legend of Zelda
Crystalis
Castlevania
just to name a few!

We will miss you.
I recieved:
F355 Challenge (japan spec, so now I gotta get a boot disc)
V-Rally (already addicted again)
MSR (Pretty sweet game, but it's complex)
Also, did anyone know that they sold the Dreamcast up until early 2007 in Japan and produced new titles for it all the way till it was finally taken off the market? Betcha didn't. Also there are companies that are still making new games for it.

+1
In college they called my multi-emulator DVD the "God Disc"
We played the SHIT out of genesis and SNES. More than actually playing xbox.
It's bad-ass to have one disc with EVERY SNES, NES, Genesis, game boy, N64, etc game on it.
I play it a hell of a lot more than actual xbox.
Next up is to mod my 360 when it gets here. But i honestly only got it to play halo 3.
