Default Anybody pick up the new Atreyu album?

I just got it and I'm lovin' it. Its called A Death-Grip on Yesterday.

I've been an Atreyu fan for a while...and this one just picks up where the last one (The Curse) left off. Especially the track Exs and Ohs is awesome. Makes for great riding music!

Thanks man, I didn't even know they had a new one out. Have they changed their style of music at all? That is always my big concern when buying a new cd from a band I love, that they have changed their style and aren't as good as before. Examples: The Bled, Thrice, The Agony Scene. Not an example: As I Lay Dying, their new cd was so awesome, it didn't drop off at all from their previous cd.

As I Lay Dying = my favorite band. The new atreyu album is pretty sick too though, i got it a day early! haha

Underoath...if anyone is familiar with them....their new CD comes out June 20th, but for reason i cannot say i got the CD last week. I'm still a huge fan and will buy it when it hits stores, but BE VERY EXCITED FOR THE ALBUM. They go back to much more southern hardcore, its so sick.

Whats the new CD like? I love old Atreyu when they were a little Hardercore. But the trend recently has been for bands to get more and more Emoish.

Sorry I was so slow on this guys.

To answer poulsen and Rodes...

Nope, they haven't changed. This CD really sounds like you could tack it on to the end of The Curse for a double-album or something. I thought that Suicide Notes and Butterfly Kisses was a little bit more "hardcore" sounding than The Curse...so yeah. It sounds a lot like The Curse, imo. It kinda follows the same format, verses screamed by the lead dude, and the choruses for the most part sung by the drummer. Personally, I like the mix. I don't get down with way too much singing, or way too much screaming in a song. Thats why I like Atreyu so much!

Oh and about As I Lay Dying...yeah, they are sick. I saw them live in Cleveland at Strhess Fest last summer and it was a sweet show. Totally kicked ass!
