Default What wives and girlfriends are good for.

They're good for sneaking candy and bottles of pop in the theatre for you in their purse.

My wife and I went to see Firewall this afternoon. It was nice eating a $0.96 package of Hot Tamales instead of a $3.50 package of them from the concession stand.

Firewall it's self was pretty decent. Some suspense, some people getting their ass kicked. Overall decent but nothing great. Would probably make a good rental sometime

I do like H. Ford. That's probably the main reason we went and saw it. Although after the movie my wife and I were talking about how his time of being the lead role in these action movies has to be getting pretty close. After all, he is getting up there in age.

^^ I'm not saying you shouldn't see it, but it was definatly one that I was going to an afternoon showing of it so I didn't have to pay the full price. A show has to be REALLY good for me to pay the evening price to go see it.

Ahh - Hot Tamales. It isn't a REAL movie experience without them.

What about Junior Mints? Remember eating them until you gagged?

That's a significant revenue source for the theater. I think the theater grosses less than $0.50 on a $10 receipt for a show. It's all about the concession sales...
