That guy is a freakin' weirdo. Tapped out of his mind. You see him fondeling that bear shit? First he was hovering his hands over it, sweet talking it, then he moved in for the kill and sensually caressed it. I bet that guy ate it off camera.

I also have a theory about how he died. That crazy focker probably took a bath in some yummy steak sauce, tucked some peppers and onions into his pockets and left a trail to his tent for the bear with a side of cheesy potatoes. In other words, I think he wanted to be eaten. Crazy nutter.

I don't think he wanted to be eaten... I think that even tho he talked about the risks, he actually thought he was too good and that the bears were his friends. I also think he was several bricks short of a load. Like when he cried for the dead bee

That dude's brain developed a serious misfire on a couple cylinders. I have no problem with the idea of protecting wildlife and all that, but to think you can become all friends with bears is loopy. ...and the part where the 'bad' bear is in the water looking for food and starts sneaking up behind him while he's talking to the camera and he spins around and basically stomps his foot and acts all "I'm going to kick your ass" to it ... all I could think to myself was I was about to watch him become a bear snack right there. Freak. I don't agree at all with some of the people on there saying he got what he deserved, but you had to see it coming a mile away.

That guy was an egocentric fool. He thought the *he* was soo special and important and *different* that even an apex predator like a grizzly would never think to harm him. Im glad that nature fixed him in the only way that he would understand. Its a damn shame that the man's last act on earth resulted in two of these fine animals having to be shot.

As far as Im care to say is bears are no different than Great Whites. You just dont poke em with a stick and not get snacked on....

*Note re Hawaii. Recently there has been a rash of Great White sightings! They never were in Hawaiian waters until recently.... our worst preds were Tiger Sharks. Almost as nasty as a white but the white is king of the seas. Top of the Food Chain with Killer Whales.

I saw this movie. I really felt sorry for that guy but at the same time I liked him. He meant well and truly had a respect for nature. Sometimes it takes someone without a full deck to show you some things that you might take for granted. Anyway RIP, this is how he wanted to go in the end anyway.
