What a AWESOME movie.

I posted about the series Firefly in the Great TV thread, not realizing that the movie was about the series. The series was good, but the movie was so much more.... one of the best movies Ive seen in ages.

I overlooked the series when it aired but borrowed the DVD set for a buddy. I loved it. I quite enjoyed the film but I didn't rush out to buy it after it was released to DVD.

I didn't think it was that great either. Of course I haven't followed the series. Wife has and she didn't find it that good.

Funny it got a 8.0 review at IMDB so it must not be that bad..... and a 10/10 from the majority of the users....

I like the series Firefly but I am such a scifi geek that it would take a truly revolting and horrendously boring scifi anything to deter me!

I'm going to watch Serenity first chance I get.

Great movie. I'd have to say that it was the best movie I saw last year, including Star Wars and Harry Potter. Maybe Narnia was just as good.

Me too on sci fi stuff. The movie was actually better than the series I thought. I just finished watching the entire series, then got the movie because so many peeps were raving about it and was like WOAH I know this cast! Real nice suprise!

I never got a chance to check the series out. I knew about it, but just didn't know when it came on. I watch "Serenity" here at work and I was suprised. It was a pretty good movie. I really enjoyed. I said when I got the chance I would check out the series.

Not a sci-fi fan but LOVED the movie....
Probably cause a 17 year old girl kicked some serious ass....the fight scene choreography was very well done....almost beautiful to watch.

Yeah, River dominated that movie. I really got into her part, and her being so nasty just ROCKED.

**btw for anyone interested the entire series is available at torrent spy. Tons of seeds so its a overnight delivery. 4gigs

Only 15 eps some of which wernt aired. Plus the about episode. Good Stuff.
