When they say "Tarantino's", they mean he produced (aka paid for) it. Some other guy wrote and directed it.

Hey I liked cabin fever so I have to assume that Eli Roth is doing his job on this one as well.

I cant wait to see a movie that gets me moving in my seat. Horror flicks have gone wayward as of late.

Yeah, I can't believe all the PG 13 "horror" movies that have been released in the last year or so. For example, the Grudge. Huh? Is that really supposed to scare me? Unless I can't sleep that night, it's not a horror movie.

Let's get back to the truly well-made, freak-the-shit-right-out-of-your-bowels flicks. 28 Days Later was the last one I can think of that qualifies.

i cant believe you even compared 28 days later to the grudge. The grudge is on a different level of scary. The Grudge is a scary movie whereas 28 days later was a horror film.

Eli Roth's other flick, "Cabin Fever" was shitty. So I'm basing my decision not to see "Hostel" based on his past directing performance.
