Yup. That type of racing is particulary deadly. IMO it's even worse than Isle of Mann...
Mixing cars that are blinding fast with bikes is a bad thing period. Then mix em on a torturous long multi day event with open roads.... thats a disaster looking for a place to happen!
The kids were in a team "caravan" Aussie for support truck. Musta crashed and the kids prolly wernt strapped in...
If I recall the Teams Race the Support trucks too. I remember Mercedes having a horrific crash in one of there fully equipped support trucks (huge like 2 duce n a half military truck size multi axel long travel suspension mondo diesel engine powered) with a machine shop, generator, welders the works) a few years back flipping it at speed (close to 100mph) end for end... Major Crash. Truck came apart scattering peeps and parts for half a mile almost...
